Information Only, Pre-Solicitation Notice Scope of Work NRM Project No. 512-24-122 Structural Steel Fireproofing GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor will provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the above-named project at the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS), Baltimore Campus. Fire Proofing Apply approved fireproofing material to the exposed structural beams in all areas in accordance with section 2.1 in the Technical Memorandum Balt VAMC Steel Fire Proofing document. Contractor shall clear items away from areas where fireproofing is to be applied and return them to previous positions after application. See specifications and all other drawings for additional details. Requirements prior to work Permits (i.e., hot work, containment barriers, ICRA barriers,) see specs and project s ICRA/PCRA for more details. Submittals (i.e., fireproofing material) shall be submitted and approved by the VA prior to use. See specs for more details. Subcontractor POCs and certifications shall be submitted and approved by the VA prior to use. See specs for more details. A/E Inspection Report Work See section 2.1 in the Technical Memorandum Balt VAMC Steel Fire Proofing document for all work. Additional requirements include but not limited to: Fireproofing of exposed beams in the interstitial spaces Fireproofing of exposed beams in the service bays Assumptions Exposed steel in any areas not accessible in section 2.1 of the Technical Memorandum Balt VAMC Steel Fire Proofing document shall be fireproofed. Contractor shall honor the recommendations from ECS in sections 4.0 and 5.0 of the Technical Memorandum Balt VAMC Steel Fire Proofing document. Work will be completed in 150 calendar days from Notice To Proceed.
