The USDA FS International Institute of Tropical Forestry Chemical Lab Storage

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(i) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ)

(ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06.

(iii) This procurement is set aside for total small business The NAICS code is 493110 and the Small Business Size Standard is $30 million dollars.

The  USDA FS International Institute of Tropical Forestry is soliciting for storage services. Storage space to house twenty shelving units, and 760 polycarbonate boxes that contains soil and plant tissue samples needed to meet our new chemistry rebuild requirement. Two (2) 10X30 storage unit, non-climate controlled. Also, relocating all contents from current facility to new facility is required.  The contractor will accomplish all storage services according to the provided statement of work.  All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and commercial practices in accordance with the solicitation Provisions, Contract Clauses, Technical Specifications, and Attachments.
