6520--Intent to Sole Source - Dental Equipment

The Miami VA Medical Center is requesting to purchase A-dex dental equipment/accessories. The Network Contracting Office (NCO-8) intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 38 U.S.C. 8128 and VAAR 819.7008, an open market contract to a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small-Business, Alliant Enterprises, 2140 Oak Industrial Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505 as a responsible source to provide the above items. An authorized distributor letter was provided by the manufacturer A-dex, Inc. authorizing Alliant Enterprises (SDVOSB) to distribute these products to the US Government. The authority for other than full and open competition is VAAR 806.302-570. This procurement is a sole-source open market procurement under FAR 13.106-3(2). Interested Vendors may identify their interest and capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
