Notice of Intent to Sole Source - USAHA Conference Fees

Pursuant to FAR 13.106, USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), intends to award a sole source service contract in that only one responsible source and no other source will satisfy agency requirements (see attached justification). The contract will be a one year, firm fixed-price contract under FAR PART 12 with the United States Animal Health Association to pay conference registration fees.

This is not a request for competitive proposals. The requirement is essential to meeting the government's needs. All responsible sources capable of providing the service listed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The response must explain completely and in detail how the service meets the requirement as indicated in the justification. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government will not reimburse participants for information they provide. 

This is a notice of intent to sole source with fair opportunity for all responsible sources to see the solicitation and respond if capable. Information provided is strictly voluntary. Closing date for submission is 09/22/2021 at 9:00 a.m. ET. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 813910 with a small business size standard of $8.0M.
