Description
This is a solicitation notice for Road and Recreation Improvements in accordance with the Attachments.
Pre-Bid Site Tour: A hosted tour has been scheduled for 14 May at 10:00 on the site. Meet at the North Fruita Desert Parking area.
Socio-economic Categories: While this procurement remains a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside, the BLM highly encourages and welcomes quotes from all sub-categories of small business such as Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran, HUBZone, 8a, and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises.

Project Description:
1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work includes, but is not limited to; site work, road and parking area construction, precast concrete toilet supply and installation, gazebo installation, and campsite construction.
1.2 LOCATION The project is located approximately 12 miles north of the city of Fruita, CO. From Fruita, Colorado, travel north on 18 Road until you get to the existing BLM North Fruita Desert trailhead. 1.3 WORK SCHEDULE Work is not allowed from April 15 to July 15 to protect wildlife. Work is not allowed September 19-22 and October 3-6. There are large race events scheduled at the project site those dates. Work shall occur Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays. Work shall be completed within 150 days of the Notice to Proceed.
Period of Performance: 15 July - 31 December 2024 - 150 Days.
Rough Order of Magnitude: $250,000 - $500,000
