Subject: Award a Sole Source Contract to CROWD Rx

FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name)

The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, various Ambulance Support with NYS State Part 800 NYCRR Certified Vehicles Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support, NYS State Certified EMTs, and Paramedics to Operate both BLS & ALS Apparatuses, during annual West Point Graduation.

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) intends to award sole source, firm fixed price contract to (CROWD RX) for Ambulance Support NYS State Part 800 NYCRR Certified Vehicles Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support, NYS State Certified EMTs & Paramedics to Operate both BLS & ALS Apparatuses.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 with the associated size standard of $15 Million per Year.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement.
