Notice of Intent KAFB Classified Material Destruction

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

The 377 MSG Contracting Division intends to issue a contract to HVF Precious Metals, 5657 S Wilmot RD, Tucson, Arizona, 85756-8763, USA. The objective of this effort is to provide destruction of Information Technology (IT) equipment by incineration or smelting. It is the current position of our office that there is only one contractor, HVF Precious Metals, capable of performing these services due to the capabilities required. Anticipated contract award is on or about 26 July 2024.

INSTRUCTIONS: All responsible parties may identify their interest and submit a capability statement which will be considered by the government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Capability statements will not exceed five (5) pages and will be submitted electronically to the cognizant contracting office listed in the paragraph above. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (small business, small, disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone), and NAICS code, which is anticipated to be 562211, size standard $47 million. The government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the government in making a set-aside decision.
