Description
To remove and dispose of three (3) Hantscho Double unit web presses and 2 oxidizers on the roof.
The Statement of Work (SOW) covers dismantling, removing and properly disposing of the three (3) Hantscho Double Web Presses on the 4th Floor of Building C, the two (2) Oxidizers located on the roof of Building C and all parts and equipment related to the Presses and Oxidizers. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature and all other services that are necessary for successfully performing the tasks specified in this contract and will also be responsible for dismantling, removing and properly disposing the two (2) Oxidizers on the roof (see attached GPO Drawing Plan View D-6099 Sh.1 for the exact location of the Presses and Oxidizers). All the dismantled parts and equipment shall be property of the Contractor and shall be removed from GPO Property by the deadline of this contract. All piping and duct that connect from the Presses to the Oxidizers shall be dismantled, removed and properly disposed of. The steel deck which supports the Oxidizers on the roof and canopy shall not be removed. All work shall be in accordance with applicable codes and local regulations. In case of conflict in or between the Contract Documents and a governing code or ordinance, the more stringent standard shall apply.
