Description
The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Region 3, has identified a need for construction services at the Walter Hoffman U.S. Courthouse in Norfolk, VA. The construction services are needed to upgrade security aspects of the building and make alterations to the entrance.
The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and supervision and equipment necessary to:
Improve building access and accessibility while also improving the security of the entry, GSA lobby and to better control movement throughout the building with additional security features in the corridors.
Region 3 will solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task order using an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) construction vehicle for construction services for this project.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220, entitled “Commercial and Institutional Building Construction” and the small business size standard is $45 million. The offeror submitting a proposal on this project will be required to be certified to work within this NAICS code.
This synopsis is required per the 8(a) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (BD) PROGRAM - SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT UNDER THE EXECUTED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT. Subpart 19.8 - Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program)
