Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) has been tasked in supporting the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) branch for construction services, management and oversight for replacing multiple RPM at multiple Land Ports of Entry (LPOE). The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform the RPM replacements. Unique and technically compatible equipment, such as the RPM replacement, will be provided by
CWMD – coordination for reception with the Contractor is key. All supporting infrastructure associated with RPM replacement shall be included to make newly installed RPMs fully operational. Supporting infrastructure can include: Communications Control Box
(CCB) with network switch and fiber patch panel, Control Box (CB), Battery Box (BB), Camera Box, Analysis Computer Station (ACS), Reutilize existing power supply, install supporting Visual Identification System Cameras, Field Point Gateway Server in
applicable LAN rooms, annunciators in applicable booths, install applicable monitor computers in appropriate buildings, and installation of new fiber as required. The contractor shall reuse applicable and carryover infrastructure as much as possible to
reduce overall installation costs to provide best value for the government. Coordination with local port authorities to maintain
operations and minimize construction impact to commercial traffic flow.
