Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is located at Duval County, Florida
Project work consists of dredging 400,000 cubic yards of material from the existing borrow area off the coast of Fort Pierce Beach. This material will be placed on the beach between Sta. 338+65 to Sta. 391+50. Base work also includes mobilization and demobilization, screening, beach tilling, remediation of noncompliant material, transportation and disposal of noncompliant material, vibration controls and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, sea turtle non-capture travel sweeping, MEC support, and stand by time.
Option A work consists of dredging 100,000 cubic yards of material from the existing borrow area off the coast of Fort Pierce Beach. This material will be placed on the beach between Sta. 391+50 to Sta. 409+00. Option A work also includes screening, beach tilling, transportation and disposal of noncompliant material, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.
The project will have an estimated period of performance of 135 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 08 November 2022 and bids will be due on or about 09 December 2022.

The Small Business Standard is $32.5 million.
Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.
