THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, on behalf of the Robley Rex VAMC located at 800 Zorn Ave, Louisville, KY, 40206, anticipates issuing a solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about 08/02/2024 to request quotes for a single award open market purchase order with an anticipated award date of 08/07/2024 for Audio and Video Equipment for the Louisville VA Medical Center. SET-ASIDE: Small Business Set Aside NAICS Code: 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing SBA SIZE STANDARD: 750 Employees PSC: 5830 Intercommunication and Public Address Systems, Except Airborne DESCRIPTION: The Director s Office at the Louisville VA Medical Center is requesting the replacement of the video cameras and audio systems for conference rooms A160 and E005. This request will include price and warranty, installation, and training. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance will be from the award date, which is estimated on or about 08/07/2024 through 08/06/2025. IMPORTANT NOTICE: 52.219-6 NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (NOV 2020) (a) Definition. Small business concern, as used in this clause (1) Means a concern, including its affiliates, that is independently owned and operated, not dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, and qualified as a small business under the size standards in this solicitation. (2) Affiliates, as used in paragraph (a)(1) of this clause, means business concerns, one of whom directly or indirectly controls or has the power to control the others, or a third party or parties control or have the power to control the others.
