Description

The Transient Personnel Unit (TPU) has a requirement to expand the PA system within its J-50 and Bullard barracks areas: SITE VISIT INFORMATION A site visit will be held prior to receipt of quotes, to allow all perspective vendors the opportunity to view, inspect, and measure the location of where the requested PA systems will be installed at the Transient Personnel Unit (TPU) within its J-50 and Bullard barracks areas, Norfolk, Virginia. In order to attend the site visit, vendors shall convene at Hampton Roads Naval Museum located at One Waterside Drive, Norfolk, Virginia 23510 no later than 08:30 a.m. on 13 August 2024. Vendors are limited to two (2) representatives per organization for the site visit. Date: 13 August 2024 Time: 08:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Location: Transient Personnel Unit (TPU) One Waterside Drive Norfolk, Virginia 23510 Interested vendors shall contact the site point of contact, FC2 Amber Schneider at 804-338- 4928 or Amber.b.schneider.mil@us.navy.mil not later than 5:00 p.m. on 12 August 2024 so that arrangements can me made for on-site parking or base access. Inquiries having to do with parking and other issues are to be addressed to the site point of contact. NOTE: ADDITIONAL SITE VISITS WILL NOT BE ARRANGED FOR ANY PARTIES WHO ARRIVE AFTER THE GOVERNMENT AND INSPECTION PARTIES HAVE DEPARTED FROM NHRM. ALL PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BE ON TIME. NO SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS WILL BE GRANTED TO PARTIES WHO REQUEST TO VISIT PRIOR TO OR AFTER THE SCHEDULED SITE VISIT DATE. THE SITE POC IS NOT PERMITTED TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS REQUIREMENT.
