Description

Maintenance Building Roof Replacement, Crooked Creek Lake, Ford City, Armstrong County, PA. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement to replace a membrane roof and install new gutters and downspouts on the maintenance building at Crooked Creek Lake. The major features of the contract are identified below: a. Removal and disposal of all gutters and downspouts. b. Removal and disposal of all flashing. c. Removal and disposal of all roof membrane. d. Removal and disposal of a 4 foot width of existing insulation board down to roof deck around entire perimeter of the roof and replacement with new polyisocyanurate board insulation. e. Installation of new, fiberglass faced gypsum cover board over all insulation board over the entire roof. f. Installation of new pipe boots, new curbing and flashing at exhaust fans and vents g. Installation of new fully adhered reinforced Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) roof membrane. h. Installation of new flashing, perimeter flashing and drip edge .i. Installation of new aluminum gutters and downspouts. j. The Contractor will be required to furnish roof system material and workmanship warranties. Roof membrane manufacturers warranty shall cover roof system materials and installation workmanship, including flashing, insulation, and accessories necessary for a watertight roof system construction for a duration of not less than 20 years. k. Roof system installer shall be approved, authorized, or licensed in writing by the roof system manufacturer and shall have at least the minimum five (5) years? experience required by the manufacturer as an approved, authorized, or licensed installer with that manufacturer and be approved at a level capable of providing the specified warranty.
