Description
On or after the publication date of this SAM.gov synopsis the full, final text for the “Request for Information synopsis for NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate Lunar Infrastructure Foundational Techologies-1 (LIFT-1) is attached and available for download from the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) at https://nspires.nasaprs.com/external/solicitations/summary.do?solId={23D0FE0E-099D-77A8-3E06-2C516D900762}&path=&method=init. RFI respondents should visit NSPIRES, the official source for this RFI. This STMD RFI does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will act in this matter.
NASA is hosting a virtual industry forum on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1pm ET to introduce the STMD LIFT-1 Demonstration RFI. At this event, representatives of STMD will discuss the relevant Moon-to-Mars Objectives, STMD Envisioned Future Priorities (EFPs), and this RFI, and will answer questions from potential interested Respondents.

The Industry Forum will be conducted via the Webex application. To connect to the Industry Forum Webex meeting, participants must first register by using the following link:

Once registered, participants will receive a meeting invitation to the registered email address with options to join via Webex or audio only (phone).

Following this event, please submit any additional questions in writing via email no later than November 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. ET to hq-stmd-LIFT-1-RFI@nasaprs.com. NASA intends to respond to questions received by email by December 4, 2023 in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document posted with the RFI .
All responses must be received by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the due date of December 18, 2023. Responses should not exceed 15 pages plus executive summary page and be uploaded as a single PDF file attachment not to exceed 10MB at the NSPIRES website (https://nspires.nasaprs.com).
