Description

IRA PARAGONAH CATTLE, RABIT, BERGSTROM

Project Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is requesting quotes for fence removal and reconstruction of two range fences Paragonah Cattle (9,170-ft), and Jackrabbit (6,022-ft) and one new construction Bergstrom (2,875-ft) range fence totaling approximately 18,067 feet (3.4 miles). All reconstruction and new construction range fence shall be 4 strand wire (3 Barbed and 1 Barbless) fence. The Paragonah Cattle and Jackrabbit range fence projects shall consist of removal of approximately 15,192 feet of existing 4-wire fence and reconstruction within the same footprint new 4 strand wire range fence. The Bergstrom range fence project shall consist of approximately 2,875 feet of new construction with 4 strand wire range fence and installation of one gate. Refer to Attached Drawings for all Fence Specifications. The reconstructed fences shall replace all corners, gates, end panels, stress panels and cattle guards etc. with new material within the same location of old material and in the same footprint. Any additional corners, gates, end panels, stress panels, cattle guards, etc. identified on the maps or described in the Fence Specifications shall need to be constructed. The site consists of some hills, canyons, and drainage crossings.

The BLM shall furnish all fencing material including cattle guards. The contractor shall furnish all labor and equipment to complete the work. Fence material installed becomes the property of the Bureau of Land Management.

Project Location: Work is located in Iron County, UT. Bergstrom (T34S, R10W, Sec. 05), Paragonah Cattle (T32S, R09W, Sec. 10 & 11), and Jackrabbit (T32S, R09W, Sec. 11, 14, 15, and 22)

Magnitude of Construction: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.

Estimated Period of Performance: 45 Contract Days after NTP. Work can be performed after award thru 11/30/2024.

Solicitation Set-Aside: 100% Total Small Business - Only companies that qualify as a small business under the applicable size standard will be considered.

Bonding: Electronic copy of bid bond required with quote if over $150,000.00. No other form of bid guarantee will be accepted. (See FAR 52.228-1) Payment bond required for contract awards over $35,000.00 and performance bond required for contract awards over $150,000.00 within 10 calendar days after the award. (See FAR 52.228-15)
