The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Rock buy for Chinle, AZ

Project Description: Rock buy and emplacement for Chinle, AZ. USACE intends on purchasing about 860 cubic yards for flood protection measures in preparation of monsoon season. The rock will be placed along the river running through Chinle, AZ. Rock will be placed as riprap using heavy equipment.

This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 212319 Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying. The size standard is 500 for number of employees.  Product Service Code is 9620 Minerals, Natural and Synthetic.

The solicitation will proceed as a 100% small business set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 23 May 2023 with proposals due tentatively on 30 May 2023.   The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm proposal due date/time.

If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
