Description

The general scope of work for this project is to remove the existing 36kW diesel generator and transfer switch from the interior of the El Dorado Lake Gate Tower and install a new 36kW propane generator, 100 Amp transfer switch and associated appurtenances including new 500-gallon propane tank at the same location. The new generator, transfer switch, and propane tank shall be installed, filled, and tested. The existing diesel generator, and associated components, shall be removed and provided to USACE in working order. The propane tank shall be installed outside of the structure at the designated location in compliance with all applicable codes. The Generator and automatic transfer switch shall be installed according to all manufacturers? recommendations. The existing air supply and ventilation shall be utilized to supply intake air and exhaust ventilation when emergency generator is in operation. Contractor shall propose the Means and Method to accomplish the work.
