1. This is a Combined Sole Source Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals and a written solicitation will not be issues. 

The United States Coast Guard Training Center Cape May (TCCM), Cape May, NJ intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The requirement is to purchase a Modular Pre-Built Sauna Per the attached Statement of work.

The solicitation number is 70Z04923Q000117 and issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.

THE EVALUATION STRATEGY IS LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE.ALL QUOTES ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON A BUSINESS LETTERHEAD TO INCLUDE A BREAKDOWN OF ESTIMATED MATERIALS NEEDED, LABOR, MAN HOURS, AND COSTS TO PROVIDE THE PRODUCT.

THE GOVERNMENT WILL AWARD A PURCHASE ORDER RESULTING FROM THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION TO THE RESPONSIBLE VENDORS WHOSE QUOTE CONFORMS TO THE SOLICITATION AND WILL BE MORE ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE GOVERNMENT, PRICE AND OTHER FACTORS CONSIDERED.

OFFERORS MAY CONDUCT A SITE VISIT, PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A QUOTE, BETWEEN MAY 18 - 23, 2023. SITE VISIT REQUESTS MUST BE APPROVED BY levente.peter@uscg.mil. AND MUST BE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS LISTED ON THE SOW. QUOTES SHALL BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 08 JUNE 2023 by 2:00 pm Pacific standard time.

As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG’s public notice requirements.
