Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Orlando (ACC-Orlando) is issuing this notification on behalf of the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) as a means of providing Industry with pertinent information regarding the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Next Generation Constructive (NGC) effort. This notification will continue to be updated as new information to be shared with Industry arises.
15 July 2024 - The Government appreciates the White Paper submissions in response to the Request for Information (RFI) posted on 4 March 2024. The input provided has proven to be very beneficial in aiding the Government to determine the best approaches to deliver NGC over time. As indicated in the RFI, after review of submissions, the Government may have further questions for specific vendors based on their submissions. It is the Government’s intent to contact those specific vendors directly, via email, to schedule one on one sessions to further discuss those White Paper submissions and gain additional clarity. All interested Industry Partners are encouraged to continue to monitor SAM.gov regarding any future updates related to NGC.
15 March 2024 - Industry Day Presentation Slides: The Government will soon be releasing the STE NGC Industry Day presentation slides to vetted attendees that came to Industry Day via DoD SAFE. The attendee contact information provided to the Government in the Industry Day registration will be utilized to accomplish this.

PEO STRI will host a Next Generation Constructive (NGC) Industry Day on 13 March 2024 from 0900-1300 EST at the Tech Grove Facility, located on the ground floor of the Partnership IV facility, 12809 Science Drive, Orlando, FL.

IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING INDUSTRY DAY/REGISTRATION/ATTENDANCE:
a. Each vendor will be restricted to two personnel per company and it is highly suggested that at least one, if not both attendees, are technical representatives.
b. As a professional courtesy to your fellow attendees and Government presenters, please arrive and in-process, BEFORE 0845, to account for the 0900 EST start time.
c. Attendance is predicated upon submission of the ‘Security Vetting Form’ and approval through the security vetting review. The “Security Vetting Form’ is attached to the eInvitation at the link provided above, and to this announcement for ease of reference.
d. Please email the ‘Security Vetting Form’ to the Points of Contact listed on the invitation, with subject line, ‘NGC – Security Vetting Form’ as soon as possible to ensure enough time for review. If a vendor is not approved through the Security Vetting Process, they will be informed via email. Submission instructions are included on the invitation.
e. Individuals who are registered for attendance must present a photo ID to gain entrance to the Tech Grove facility.
f. As there is limited parking at the Partnership IV/Tech Grove facility, do not park in the reserved spots. In-person attendees are encouraged to park in the open lot on the southeast corner of Science Drive and Technology Parkway, adjacent to the entrance to NAWCTSD and proceed on foot to the Partnership IV/Tech Grove facility.
g. Technical Data: The Government anticipates releasing technical data to Industry, via DOD Safe site, post Industry Day, with a date still to be determined. As part of the registration for Industry Day, vendors interested in receiving this technical data are required to check ‘Yes’ regarding this topic on the Invitation Registration Response. Additionally, to prepare for this release of data, interested vendors should review and sign the ‘PDK Distribution Agreement’ attached to the Industry Day invitation found at the link above. The ‘PDK Distribution Agreement’ is also attached to this notification for ease of reference. Submission instructions are included on the invitation.
