Non-Personal Services to Remove and Install a New Security Gate with Controls and Intercom for NOAA's Weather Forecast Office Located in Old Hickory, TN

NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT:  Services, non-personal, to provide all equipment, labor, and materials (unless otherwise provided herein) necessary FOR installation of a security gate, controls, and intercom SPECIFIED IN THE ATTACHED, INCORPORATED STATEMENT OF WORK.

100% Small Business Set-Aside per FAR Part 13 under the SAT.  The associated NAICS code is 238210. The small business size standard is $19.0M.  This is a solicitation request for quote supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Firm Fixed Priced contract will be awarded IN ACCORDANCE WITH the trade off criteria in CAR 1352.213-70.

Vendors must provide all documents listed in 1352.213-70 to be eligible for award. REFERENCE THE attached full Construction Clauses and Provisions with all terms and conditions THAT all vendors must be in compliance with IN ORDER to be eligible for award.

THIS IS A New contract.  THERE IS no incumbent.

SITE VISITS ARE SCHEDULED FOR FAR 52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995)

(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation.  Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.

 Alternate I (Feb 1995).
