Description
The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm-fixed price contract for Repairing the Medical Command Suite and Various Entrances on the 176th Wing campus, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK.
- The magnitude of the project, to include options, is between $25,000 - $100,000.
- The location of the work is the 176WG campus on the north side of the JBER flightline.
- The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 27 February 2023. The tentative date for solicitation close is 30 March 2023. Bids will be opened at 7252 Gibson Ave shortly after solicitation close. The bid opening is open to the public to attend.
- The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 120 days ANP for the base bid and options (if exercised).
- This will be a 100% total small business set- aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45,000,000 average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.
- A bid bond is required in the amount of 20% of the offer or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less.
- The date for an organized site visit will be announced in the formal solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and must follow base access requirements that will be outlined in the solicitation notice.
