Description

The El Paso Veteran Affairs Health Care System (EPVAHCS) Medical Center currently has a requirement for a project to Repair Building Envelope: Restore and repair building envelope and moisture protection systems infrastructure at the El Paso Veteran Affairs Health Care System (EPVAHCS) Medical Center, located at 5001 N. Piedras Street, El Paso, Texas 79930. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment to restore and repair the building envelope and moisture protection systems at the EPVAHCS Medical Center. Restoration and repair of the building envelope and moisture protection systems to include but not limited to the roof, skylights, windows, brick walls, pre-cast concrete panels and any building wall and roof penetrations. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $45M. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Location of Work El Paso Veteran Affairs Health Care System (EPVAHCS) Medical Center 5001 N. Piedras Street EL Paso, TX 79930 Specific Dates - Tentative A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on or about 12/30/2024. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall remain posted for a period of 30 days. Proposals shall be submitted to Contract Specialist Michael Walls at michael.walls2@va.gov within 30 days of the RFP posting. Work shall be completed within 300 calendar days after receiving a Notice to Proceed (NTP). Architect and Engineering Documents shall be posted with the Request for Proposal (RFP). Set-Aside This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Charges No amount shall be charged for solicitation documents. Request For Proposal (RFP) Publication This requirement shall be publicized through the Governmentwide point of entry in accordance with 5.204. Interested Parties All interested parties shall submit an interested vendor email to the Contract Specialist: Michael Walls at the following email: michael.walls2@va.gov. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetCert prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
