Description
THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research or as a market survey to determine the availability of all potential qualified vendors (large or small) with the technical capability to provide all management, supervision, administration, and labor for the review of advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) for fusion reactor materials. This work involves conducting assessment of technical challenges and potential regulatory challenges for licensing AMTs for fusion reactor materials (FRMs), such as structural materials, and especially for plasma-facing components (PFC), as well as assessing gaps in regulatory requirements and guidance development.
