Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.06 and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 12805B21Q0361 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. The associated NAICS Code is 541380 and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million.

Description of Work:

The USDA Agricultural Resource Service (ARS) Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center (ETSARC) requires 28 lanes of Illumina (HiSeq 2000 or above) 150 paired end sequencing of pre-made DNA library pools.

Libraries will be prepared and pooled by ARS and shipped to the vendor. Vendor will confirm library quality/quantity and sequence library pools on the Illumina (HiSeq 2000 or above) platform using 150 base paired end sequencing chemistries. Sequence data will be de-multiplexed and delivered to ARS by providing a link from which the sequence data can be downloaded.

In order to be considered for award, Offerors shall respond by:

1) Providing all associated documents identified in the attached clauses and provisions document, specifically 52.212-1 Instruction for the Preparation of Offers (Addenda).
