Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for human diagnostic and laboratory services in support of the occupational health program at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, KS. Services include human specimen collection, transport, testing, analysis, and reporting. Services shall be performed at the Contractor’s facility. Specimen transportation services shall be provided from the NBAF Occupational Health Clinic to the Contractor’s facility. The contractor’s diagnostic and laboratory testing facility shall be certified to perform testing on human specimens under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA). The appropriate NAICS code for this requirement is 621511 with a small business size standard of $36.5M. The solicitation will be issued a total small business set-aside. The Government contemplates a commercial firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base and four option years. The solicitation will be available on SAM.gov on or around April 20.
