Description
Furnish, fabricate, and treat structural timber, including all required yard lumber needed to render one complete glued-laminated stringer type trail bridge system having timber hand railing and running planks. Furnish all required anchoring/fastening hardware including but not limited to anchor bolts, lag screws, malleable iron washers, nails, plate washers, bearing shoes with elastomeric pads, and other structural steel as required to render a complete bridge system, delivered to the Material Staging Area location noted on the Drawings.
Deliver the complete bridge system to the Material Staging Area location noted on the Drawings. The Material Staging Area is located approximately 22 miles from the Ketchum Ranger District Office in Ketchum, Idaho, via State Highway 75 and Forest Road #162. Coordinate material delivery with Braidy Richins at 208.731.0176 or by email at braidy.richins@usda.gov a minimum of 48 hours prior to delivery. Thursday and Friday deliveries are not permitted.
The week of October 2nd, 2023, no later than October 4th. Supplier shall have complete bridge system ready for shipment at least one week prior to required delivery date.
The Contractor shall (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed; (b) prosecute the work diligently; and (c) supply all the bridge system materials by the above noted “required delivery date”.
Inspection of the delivered material will be made by the Contracting Officer’s Representative. Materials not completed in accordance with the Contract Documents shall be replaced without additional compensation to the Supplier.
