Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses.

Responses to this notice will be used solely for informational and planning purposes and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes only. Based on the results of the market research and other factors, the NAF Procurement Office anticipates issuing a solicitation for this project late February 2025.

Please note that the Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses to this notice, and the Government is not obligated to pay for any information received as a result of this announcement.

We are seeking qualified sources to potentially add to our bidders list. Below is a brief synopsis of the work to be performed:

This project is a design-bid-build effort, with 100% of the design work completed. Interested general contractors must submit their capability statements electronically, limited to five (5) pages, which must include the required questionnaire. capability statement should provide sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work.

Project Overview:

We are seeking a General Contractor to construct an addition to the existing Child Development Center (CDC). The addition will focus on providing additional Child Activity Rooms (CAR) and include supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, support, and circulation spaces. The CAR spaces will feature infant rooms and pre-toddler spaces. The construction design will be provided to qualified sources once they have been selected to bid on this project.

To be considered, firms must complete the attached Past Performance Questionnaire, which is included in the 5-page limit. The questionnaire must demonstrate recent experience completing at least three (3) similar projects, with three (3) references, including contact information, and a description of their experience on the noted projects. A similar project is defined as one that is similar in size, scope, type, and complexity, demonstrating the capacity to perform. To be considered similar in size, projects should have a construction value between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Recent experience is defined as work completed within the past three years.

Vendors that fail to provide the required information or do not meet the requirements identified in this Sources Sought notice may not be invited to participate in the resultant opportunity.
