SOURCES SOUGHT This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by Louis Stokes VA Medical Center (VAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106, to identify all sources that are capable of providing Chemical Management Services. The Period of Performance is 1 October 2022 through 30 September 2023 Product or Service Code: J065 NAICS Code: 811219 The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking SDVOSB sources that are capable of inspecting and maintaining the Slide Tissue Stainer and Coverslipper. The Louis Stokes VAMC uses the Slide Tissue Stainer and Coverslipper to diagnose and treat both acute and chronic medical conditions. Slide stainers are devices that automate the staining of peripheral blood and other hematologic smears to facilitate laboratory microscope differential counts using Wright's stain, a Romanowsky stain.  A maintenance agreement is needed to ensure that all equipment is fully functional to meet patient clinical demands.   This equipment type is critical and it is essential to the operations of the Medical Center that this equipment be repaired properly and in a timely manner to ensure patient care/safety is not compromised. Slide Strainer (Parent) Serial Number (SN) 2073, VA ID # EE123305 Automated Coverslip (component) SN 3979, VA ID # EE123306 SCOPE: One annual maintenance and inspection visit Maintenance and service performed at the customer s site Detailed equipment maintenance reports are furnished to the customer and duplicate copies maintained in our records for customer back up Detailed follow-up reports outlining any issues that may require additional attention are provided periodically as needed Automatic maintenance notification and scheduling provided based on the customer s requirements Automatic and timely contract renewal generated for customer review preventing lapse in coverage Original manufacturer s warranties are honored where applicable Customers retain full access to our technical assistance hotline Emergency service requests are dispatched in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime Equipment evaluation and repair estimates provided at no additional charge Loaner equipment furnished at no additional charge in the event that customers equipment must be removed from site for specialized repair Rental equipment provided at customers request on a reduced rate schedule Customers retain access to our reference and compliance resources Maintenance parts as outlined in the corresponding preventative maintenance protocol checklists are included.
