Description
This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued as part of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 on behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), Patuxent River, MD. This procurement is for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation and integration of five (5) Universal Fuel Control Test Stands that have the capability to test aircraft fuel components listed in paragraph 1.1 of the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW), in support of Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) located at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC.
COMFRC intends to competitively solicit offers for the required five (5) test stands and is seeking responses to this RFI to determine if at least two companies are capable of performing the requirement. A previous RFI was issued to Equipment Procurement and Sustainment (EPaS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) IDIQ contractors to identify competitive interest within Functional Area 12 of the EPaS MAC. This is a follow-up RFI to contractors who may not currently be EPaS MAC holders to identify competitive interest and capability beyond the EPaS MAC. Responses are appreciated to best determine the acquisition strategy for this procurement, required to be awarded in Fiscal Year 2022.
The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310. The PSC is 4920. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, interested parties may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist at cynthia.knight@navy.mil by February 25, 2022.
