Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to:

Description of Requirement: Purchase/Delivery of replacement parts for Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Test (RPVOT) that can be used to perform ASTM D2272 method measurements. Details in attached Specification/Statement of Work.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 2:00 PM Central Time on September 15, 2023 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Sandra Daniels, sandra.daniels@usda.gov. The e-mail subject line shall state: 1103179 Temp Controller - Notice of Intent to Sole Source. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
