Description
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) in Lawrence, KS intends to award a purchase order to OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc of Dublin, OH for annual licenses subscriptions to FedRamp certified and Worldshare Management Service providing academic Library services to the Haskell University. Services to include patron, circulation, archival items, and materials maintenance; metadata and cataloging services; interlibrary loan, proxy server, and discovery layer to provide secure and improved access to material. Haskell University seeks to provide the best in digital and print resources for faculty and students in the research capacity to sustain academic research for the four baccalaureate degrees in face to face and distance learning environments. OCLC is the only source capable of providing guidance and monitoring the transition of current content held in KC-LSP SirsiDynix System. KC-LSP will also assist in the migration of bibliographic and patron data, OCLC holds content on their servers, maintaining the integrity of data tables in the configuration; planning and implementing software releases and enhancements for the ILS; and advising enhancements on 3rd-party ILS integrated applications; and securing data backup.
The period of performance for the proposed contract is 7/01/2022 to 6/30/2023. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(41 USC 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses with this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
