Commodity Item Description for the C22‐038 CMXG Chemical Stripper IDIQ

The Government requires an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for chemical stripper. This purchase would be divided up into multiple deliveries. In order to meet the Government's Qualified Products listing (QPL) and Technical Order (TO) 1-1-24 the chemical paint stripper must be in accordance with one of the following brand names stated below.

QPL & TO 1-1-24

a) B&B 9095N

b) AS 5050

In additions the following capabilities must be able to be met.

  • Product must arrive on location within 45 ARO and with a minimum

Manufacturer’s shelf life of 85%.

  • Shipments will be of 300 gallon totes (Orders will be placed in gallons to reflect size of tote) of chemical paint remover.
  • "Banjo style connectors" required on totes
  • Tote size not to exceed 40"W x 48"L x 53"H
  • Each shipment must be shipped with a current Safety Data Sheet

Initial Minimum Order

   10 totes or 3,000 Gallons

Estimated Annual Usage

36,000 Gallons

Maximum Contract Quantity

144,000 Gallons

Note:

Per DoDM 4140.27, Volume 1, materiel will have no less than 85 percent (allowing for rounding to whole months) of shelf-life remaining at time of receipt by the first government activity. Consider as non-conforming any delivery from a contractor not having at least 85 percent original shelf-life remaining.
