Description

This work involves replacement of an existing dam with one that includes a rock fish passageway to improve biotic connectivity as a
mitigation measure for the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project. Construction will occur largely in-channel. The fish passage structure will be constructed upstream of the existing dam, with the downstream extent of a set of boulder weirs terminating at the location of the existing dam. This new fish passage structure would function to maintain upstream water elevations and subsequently the existing Drayton Dam would be removed.
