Description
SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) for a Wireless Internet Repair Services
- This is a RFI notice only. This RFI is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10.
- The 99th Contracting Squadron is seeking market information from qualified, experienced, and interested vendors who can perform the following services:
- Troubleshooting and repairing approximately thirty (30) Aruba IAP-275 Instant Outdoor Wireless Access Point (APEX0100), model JW179A Wireless Access Points and one (1) 24-port CISCO Catalyst 9300 switch.
- Vendor must provide an Aruba trained technician that is skilled in all aspects of networking systems.
- Vendor shall test the functionality of each Access Point for proper operation and verify connectivity to the internet, network domain, and the rest of the installation.
- Request interested firms respond to the following:
- Identify your firm’s information (name, address, phone number, CAGE code).
- Identify if your company is a large or small business. If applicable, identify what small business program(s) (i.e. SBA Certified 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned, HubZone, etc.) your company is certified as.
- Identify the appropriate amount of calendar days required to respond to an official solicitation.
- What is the timeframe needed from time of award to transition and begin new service.
- Any other comments, feedback or response on how to improve this requirement is highly encourage.
- Only electronic responses will be accepted. Please send responses via email to the primary point of contact, Jeremy Rivera, at jeremy.rivera.3@us.af.mil, no later than Monday, 17 June, 2024, 2:00 pm Pacific Time. Earlier submission is highly encouraged.
- This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
