Digital Switch Matrix Replacement Parts

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. IAW FAR Part 13, this purchase order is intended to be awarded as a Single Source procurement.

The 83 FWS/FWT is procuring replacement parts for the of AL2273 Digital Switch Platform that allows the telemetry ground station to quickly and electronically patch incoming telemetry signals to many outputs. The customer has the switch controller and software and only require the chassis and associated switching cards to be replaced. The Digital Switch Platform is an integral part of a complex telemetry ground station system included in the Eglin’s Advanced Range Telemetry (ARTM) program that collects critical telemetry data for not only the multi-million dollar Weapon System Evaluation Program (WSEP) but also Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT) of weapon systems and testing accomplished for Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sales customers. This Digital Switch Platform is the hub that controls all data routing and distributes data for real time processing, display, and data archival recording. The replacement parts will be paired with one of the customer's current Apogee Digital Switch Controllers (AL2273-201). This is proprietary equipment and no other known vendors/manufacturers capable of meeting this requirement and interface with the chassis.
