J065--Satisloh Total Equipment Protection (STEP) Maintenance and Equipment Training

Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Satisloh North America Inc. of Germantown, WI to provide Satisloh Total Equipment Protection (STEP) Maintenance Service for the VISN 20 Optical fabrication Laboratory (VISN 20 OFL) located at the Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, ID. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5 procedure, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 811210. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contract Specialist via e-mail to sangmi.kim@va.gov, no later than Aug 29, 2023 11:00 am (PT). Responses received must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide the required service. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA Network Contracting Office 20 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Satisloh North America Inc.
