DESCRIPTION: The intent of this solicitation is to award one (1) firm fixed-price contract for the Laurel River Dam Oil Circuit Breaker Replacement and optional Circuit Breaker Analyzer. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 90 days after the date of contract award. Exercise of the option will NOT extend the period of performance/delivery date. The Contractor will be responsible for the following activities/items: a. Removal of existing equipment. b. Installation of three (3) new SF6 circuit breakers and associated control cables. c. Modification to direct operator controls or additions, where required. The Bidders bid must be received by the Government by the date/time specified in the solicitation.
