Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with FAR part 13.5 and additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only a solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation number 140R2023Q0096 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04, effective 06-02-2023.
(iv) This acquisition is a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 561612 and the size standard is $29.0 Million.
(v) The contract line item is listed in the Price Schedule of the solicitation package. The intent is to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
(vi) This requirement is to provide Reclamation a canine and handler team to inspect incoming vessels for detection of quagga and zebra mussels at New Melones Lake.
(vii) The period of performance is three (3) years, Base + Two (2) Option Years.
(viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.
(ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.
(x) The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.
(xi) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. There is no addendum to this clause.
(xii) The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. The applicable clauses cited within this clause are indicated in the solicitation package.
