No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this RFI, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in Contract Opportunities. STATEMENT OF NEED VAMC in Washington DC has the need for 2 brand name Reliance Low Voltage Control Chair Model FX920, with 2 Reliance FX-920 Cushion Set, #302 Navy Color. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The request is to replace the Reliance Exam Chairs that currently exist in the VA. The bases for the chairs already exist, hence the request for the Reliance FX-920 brand name Make and Model. Base: 22 5/16", width 24 1/2". Two base heights. High: 24 3/4" lowered and 35 3/8" raised. Low: 22 1/4" lowered and 30 3/4" raised. Depth upright (excluding headrest): 41 . Reclined: 57". Seat: 20" wide by 15" deep. Distance between armrests: 19 1/2" with lockable arm rest. Shipping weight: 370lbs Standard. Electrical: 110 volts, 60/50 Hz, 6.3 amperes. Optional electrical: 230 volts, 50 Hz, 4.0 amperes. Must move in different directions (up, down, left, right, recline) under the standard power supply. Must have a head, foot, and armrest with power tilt, dual control for base top function, up and down, recline, turn right and left control controls, and safety switch. Must have upholstery of faux leather to keep sanitized/ disinfected with VA supplies safely. Must hold a maximum of 600 lb. The chair shall consist of an FX920 reliance control chair with cushion or equal to.
