Intent to Award to a Sole Source

SYNOPSIS

The 502d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, Texas, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Pearson Education, Inc. (CAGE Code: 3A8R6, 221 River St, Hoboken, NJ, 07030-5989) for the purchase and delivery of their 14th Edition Emergency Care Textbook + Workbook + Review Plus Application package (IBSN 9780136994015). 

Requested items will be used in support of the Department of Combat Medic Training (DCMT) Program at the Medical Education & Training Campus (METC), JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, TX. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).  

The anticipated award date is 2 May 2022. 

This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements.
