Description

The USDA Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Operations Branch, Acquisition Division is preparing to issue a solicitation on behalf of USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for wetland restoration of Prince's Point that is located near Palmyra in Jefferson County, Wisconsin.  The wetland restoration of 1,750 acres will include the following measures:

- Four wetland management basins defined by existing and constructed dikes.

- Shallow scrapes and islands for habitat and wave protection.

- Water control structures (sheet piling, pipes, gates, pump stations) for water level management.

- Access road and bridge improvements for operation and maintenance of the wetland management basins.
