Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is seeking information from industry to assist with the development and planning of a potential replacement requirement for a Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) System for the Global Intellectual Property Academy (GIPA) which exists within the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA. GIPA is seeking a solution for wholly integrated SI, utilizing six (6) or more languages for a single event.

The USPTO reserves the right to review responses to this RFI and determine whether to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) (solicitation).  If a solicitation is issued, the USPTO will use the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG), and the patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A).
