Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is W9132T23Q0013 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333248, All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing. The size standard is 750 Employees.
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to procure a High-flow Extruder for use in Robotic Additive Manufacturing. This is not a brand name specific requirement, but the equipment purchased must be compatible with the Kuka brand industrial robotic arm that the government already owns. The model must weigh less than 10kg, have mounting points for use on a robotic arm, and have a high flow rate greater than 2kg/hr.
