Description
This is a non-personnel services contract to provide for the maintenance and repair of LMR equipment for the Kosovo Forces (KFOR) Government-Owned LMR equipment. Current steady state is remote repeater sites and mobile repeater site with a projected reduction to 4 and 1 respectively. The average straight-line distance from Camp Bondsteel (CBS) is 26 km to the towers. Most sites are in mountainous areas and accessed through a combination of indirect improved and unimproved roads. There are hundreads of Motorola radios at the US Army base camps in Kosovo the require maintenance and repairs.
