5680 - Fiber Grate Hardware and Materials

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about 02 May 2022. The solicitation will be issued as other than full and open competition (brand name). The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Trident Refit Facility (TRF), located in Kings Bay, Georgia, with a supply contract for Fiber Grate Hardware and Materials to support a the restoration of a crane elevated circular walkway and boom walkway. This includes Duragrid brand specific hardware including Fiberglass Grating, Pultruded, MSI- 6010, Fastener, Stainless Steel, Type 316, Mill Finish, Type MI-6010 Saddle Clip, Fits MS-I-6010, Fiberglass Grating, Pultruded, MST- 5020, and Fastener, Stainless Steel, Type 316, Mill Finish, Type MT-5020 Saddle Clip, Fits MS-T-5020. In addition, the following materials shall be included in order to support the crane restoration: 316 STAINLESS STEEL 5/16X18X3/4IN WELD STUD, 316 STAINLESS STEEL 5/16-18 NUT, 316 STAINLESS TEEL 1/4-20 X 1IN WELD STUD and 315 STAINLESS STEEL 1/4-20 NUT. Additional information regarding the salient characteristics of the required hardware and materials will be available in the description of requirements (DOR) as outlined in the solicitation. The required supplies are needed by 30 June 2022. The PSC Code is 5680. The NAICS Code is 333921, with a size standard of 1000 employees. The solicitation will be available on or about 02 May 2022 for download via the PIEE Solicitation Module at https://piee.eb.mil. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of price quotes, the performance work statement, and evaluation criteria. It is the responsibility of interested parties to register with PIEE to download the synopsis, solicitation and subsequent amendments and all attachments. Offerors are encouraged to review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of the RFP, attachments or amendments will be provided. No solicitation mailing list will be issued.
