Description

1. Introduction.  The USDA Forest Service, Coconino National Forest in Arizona has a requirement Coyote Pit Crush and Stockpile. 

This project will include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, drilling, blasting, sampling and testing, stockpile surveying for quality control and crushing and stockpiling of an aggregate material in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Payment for contract work will be made only for and under those pay items included in the Schedule of Items.  All other work and materials will be considered as incidental to and included in the payment for items shown.

2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using FAR 15 Request for Proposal (RFP) Best Value format.  This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside to code 212319 (SBA Size: 500 employees or less) is the maximum size standard to qualify as small business.  PSC code F011. 

In order to be eligible for award of a federal contract, potential vendors, at time of award, need to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home .  

3. Basis for Award – Best Value-Tradeoffs – See Section M (last section of this document)

4.  How to submit your offer.  Submit RFP pages 3 through 7 and section K as your business (schedule of items) proposal.  In a separate document, submit all the information requested in Section M as your technical proposal.

Deadline for submission of offers shall be June 30, 2022, 1:00 p.m Pacific Daylight Time.

5. Organized Site Visits (Optional)  May 11, 2022 at 0800 PDT –

Meet at Coconino National Forest Headquarters, 1824 S. Thompson St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 at 0800 PDT.

Travel to Ruin Pit to perform site visit. Once completed we will travel to Coyote Pit to perform the site visit.
