CEIA Walk-Through Metal Detectors Request for Information

Purpose:

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking information on CEIA Walk Through Metal Detectors.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain relevant information about the marketplace, industry capability, interest, availability, authorized resellers, etc. 

Instructions:

After reviewing the requirements of this Special Notice Request for Information interested parties may respond no later than noon February 2, 2024 via email to osc.procurements@usdoj.gov titled “[Company Name] – WTMD RFI” with:

1. COMPLETED ATTACHMENT – RFI RESPONSE SHEET: Respondents shall provide their response in the Excel format.  Respondents are requested to complete all requested information in Tab “Business Information” and Tab “Capability Information.” Additionally, respondents may provide comments, questions or suggestions to the USMS on Tab “Cmmts, Qs, Suggests to USMS”

1. OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Interested parties may also provide additional capability information such as product(s) information or use case(s). Additional information shall be submitted in .PDF format, not to exceed 5 single sided pages total. All information provided to the Government must be UNCLASSIFIED material only. Any company proprietary information must be marked as such.

This Request for Information (RFI) is for Market Research only - to assist the USMS with requirement development and acquisition planning - and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or an announcement of a solicitation. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any potential offeror's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. The purpose of this document is to identify potential sources, conduct market research, and develop a complete requirement. Any requests for a solicitation package will be disregarded. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of preparing submissions in response to this RFI and the Government's use of such information. Submittals will not be returned to the sender.
