INTRODUCTION:

The AEDC/TDA JSIS program has a need for Cambium Networks wireless networking equipment at U.S. DoD ODT&E Center for CounterMeasures.  Equipment is required to provide network bridges across long distances on remote DoD test ranges supporting on-going missions.   All wireless networking equipment must conform to U.S. government, DoD, and FCC regulations for production, certification and authorization to operate.  The Cambium PTP820G equipment being sought is DoD TAA compliant, is certified in compliance with DoD DISA frequency compliance, and operates in FCC radio bands allocate for DoD testing.  The desired equipment provides 1 gigabit/second transmissions in full-duplex across ranges up to 10 kilometers.  

The Cambium Links shall meet the specification detailed below:

Specifications for Cambium Links

Parameters:

Wireless network bridging links, provided as paired equipment, capable of transmitting 1 gigabit/second full-duplex reliably over distances up to 10 kilometers, using NIST-certified AES 256-bit encryption, via radio equipment certified by DoD DISA Frequency Management program providing a current and valid J/F12 certification form, using licensed radio frequencies available for use on both DoD and NATO test ranges.  Radio equipment must support environmental ranges of -33C to +55C.  Radio links must offer adaptive, auto-scale channel sizes.   Link equipment must support Ethernet Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) sizes up to 9600 bytes.  Network interfaces must be either RJ45 or SFP providing 10/100/1000 megabit auto-sensing, full-duplex link speeds.  Network bridge must support up to 4000 VLANs simultaneously.  Equipment must provide web-based management interface to configure all aspects of operational links and encryption and radio traffic.  Indoor radio equipment height must be no more than 1 rack-unit. Products must be brand name, Cambium Networks, or equivalent to the performance of the brand name.

Quantity Needed: 3 systems

Any part found will be deemed adequate or not by referencing the requirement specification.

This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government’s requirement to purchase Cambium Links for AEDC IAW Attachment 1 – Specifications for Cambium Links

NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE:

The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with the corresponding business size standard of 800 employees, and Product Service Code 5895, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

Responses should include:

   1)  Company Information: Company name, company address, and telephone number and e- mail address of company point of contact.Business size under NAICS code 334290.

   2)  System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number.

   3)  Indicate if there any technical requirements that are too restrictive or not traditionally available in the marketplace. Also indicate if any of the technical requirements should be changed based on industry standards.

   4)  Comments/feedback on Attachment 1- Specifications for Cambium Links.

]   5)  Please provide an estimated Period of Performance (in weeks) that it would take to complete the work IAW Attachment 1 –Specifications for Cambium Links.

The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to a ompany, or to contact a company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request.

Please be advised that all submission become Government property and will not be returned. All government and contract personnel reviewing sources sought responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
