SUBJECT:

Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the multiple JSECST NSNs/PNs listed above. PR #FD2060-25-00084 
 

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

The above listed NSNs/PNs are used in the AN/USM-670A JSECST.

IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION:

The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Textron Systems Corporation. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Textron Systems Corporation is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the performance requirements and possession of the required technical data, drawings, facilities, and expertise needed to produce these items and ensure form-fit-function interface and system compatibility. 

INTEREST:

The DLA Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Textron Systems Corporation for the manufacture of the above listed NSNs/PNs in support of the JSECST Program. The NSNs/parts list above cannot be broken into multiple sub-groups for bidding. Other interested parties may respond to the requirement no later than November 9, 2024, to Benjiman Morris via email (benjiman.morris@us.af.mil) and Terrence Wideman via email (terrence.wideman.2@us.af.mil). The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
